Our First Ever “Secret Valentine Night”

Join in on the “Secret” fun.  Thursday, February 9th from 6-9p.m.  All I can say is that you will have fun, learn new techniques, and that you will leave with lots of fun “Secret” stuff!  Cost is $49pp.  Space is limited!

2012 New Year Bead Kit Challenge

Only 12 kits have been made for this challenge and as of today (1/19/12) there is only 1 left.  Get in on the fun.  The kit contains 12 different types of beads and you’ll need to come on in and get the details for the challenge.  Challenge pieces are due in by February 15th.

Saturday, November 12th from 11-3, Maureen from Tidal Gems will be here with her sea glass trunk show, and Kelly will be demonstrating the drilling technique of sea glass, beach stones, and sea shells. So if you collected a lot of sea glass during your summer vacation, or if you’d like to add to your collection, stop in and see Maureen and Kelly.

Sign up for our Jewelry Exchange this month.  Details will be available soon.  The fun will take place at our annual Holiday Party on Sunday, December 11th.

C-Koop Beads and Findings Trunk Show November 3-22, 2011. If you love enameled pieces come and check out the wide selection from C-Koop.  These parts make great earrings, pendants, rings, necklaces, and bracelets.  Be sure to mark your calendar, they are only here for 1 week.

Semi-Precious Beads Trunk Show starts November 1st and runs until the 30th. These beads are from a new vendor to Simply Beadiful so I’m sure there will be some exciting new stones we haven’t had in stock yet.

Grace Lampwork Beads Trunk Show October 7-15, 2011.  These beautiful beads will be our October featured trunk show.  They are only here for 1 week so stop in early for best selection.  The detail, colors, and shapes are amazing.

Golem Studio Beads, Pendants, and Cabochon Trunk Show starts Tuesday, September 20 and runs through Saturday, October 1st. These beautiful pieces are handmade in Bulgaria.  They are first molded, hand carved, fired, hand painted, and fired again.  They look amazing as focal pieces on Kumihimo braided necklaces and make great accents for your fall wardrobe.  Stop in early for best selection.

Fun with Sea Glass, Sea Shells, and Beach Stones

Saturday, August 6th

Stop in and bring your sea and beach treasures with you.  I will be doing sea glass drilling demo’s throughout the day and will have lots of ideas of how you can turn your vacation beach treasures into keepsake jewelry.  Saturday, August 6th from 10-4.

Ice Cream Social and Bead Swap – Saturday, August 27th

Do you have lots of beads that you are just not into anymore.  Let’s swap them out!  Give us a call to register for the bead swap and to receive your swap number.   Bring in your beads on Saturday, August 27th all packaged (if they are sets or small like seed beads) or by the strand and get ready to do some swapping!  The bead swap will start at 1p.m. along with our ice cream social.  So bring your ice cream appetite and your unwanted or orphaned beads and prepare to have some fun

Christmas in July – Sunday July 31st 12-4p.m.

Join us for our 4th annual Christmas in July Event.  Holiday projects, a fun make-n-take (this one I need you to bring in a household item and will announce that soon), and all holiday themed merchandise and more will be on special for this fun pre-Christmas event.  Be sure to save the date!

Simply Supper – Come eat, bead, and be merry.  Bring a dish of your choice  and a project that you are working on and prepare to have some fun.   I am thinking about scheduling a simply supper for a night in August.  Let me know if you are interested in attending, what dates work for you, and I can have your email address added to the Evite list.

On June 17th & 18th, Simply Beadiful will welcome Raku bead artist Keith O’Connor for a two part raku bead making class and a trunk show.  Starting at 4:00p.m. on Friday, June 17th we will have a welcoming reception with beverages and snacks while you shop/preview his raku, porcelain, and stone ware beads and pendants.  Be sure to stop in.  Lots of ocean themed items for sale.

May 2011 – Simply Beadiful Celebrates our 3rd Anniversary all month long and you are invited to join in on the celebration.

Every Thursday night in May will be “Free Instruction Classes”.  As a way of saying thanks to all of our wonderful customers I will be offering free instructions with 4 very fun and stylish projects.  Material fees will apply.  Be sure to sign up early!

Elements of Three Jewelry Design Contest

Stop in to sign up for our latest design contest.  The choice of style, beads, and colors is yours.  Select three main “Elements” for your design (either necklace, bracelet, or earrings are the 3 categories) and you will receive 15% off these 3 items for your entry.

Entries are due in to Simply Beadiful by Saturday, May 21st at noon and the favorites in each of 3 categories will be voted on by all of you and announced on Saturday, May 28th!  Most popular in each category will win a gift certificate to Simply Beadiful and the favorite of all three categories will have the chance to submit their piece to Bead Style Magazine or Bead & Button Magazine with my assitance!!!  What 3 elements will you choose???

February – March 2011

Kazuri Bead Trunk Show – starts February 12th and will run for three weeks.  Kazuri beads are handmade in Africa on the plantation where the movie “Out of Africa” was filmed.  The women that work on this plantation support their families by making these “Small and Beautiful” beads.  Stop in and check out the wonderful selection along with new styles, colors, and shapes that will be on display and for sale.

C-Koop Beads and Findings Trunk Show - For just one week we will have these fun jewelry components on display and for sale.  They are a new line for our store and I am looking forward to their debut!  March 5th-March 13th stop in and check out these amazing enameled components!

On March 19th, Simply Beadiful welcomes Carolyn of Greco Leather back with her great line of Greek leather cord.  All sizes and new colors for Spring will be on display, along with some fun new designs.  Join us and she will even teach you a fun, adjustable knot to use in your leather designs.  Carolyn will be here from 10-3.  Be sure to stop in and say hello!

Locally Made Lampwork Glass Beads – Saturday, March 19th, Lisa will join us featuring her beautiful lampwork glass beads.  Amazing new shapes, colors, and combinations will be available.  Come on down and check them out!
