Summer/Fall Events 2010

Saturday, July 17th – The Art of Paper Bead Making Class with guest teacher Michelle Holmes.  She comes to us all the way from PA and will show us her know how in turning scrap book and wrapping paper into fun beads for jewelry making.  The first class at 10:30 is full, however there is still space available in the 1:30 class.  Cost of class including materials is just $16 plus tax.

July 20th – 22nd – Kids Bead and Jewelry Camp is back for 3 days this July.  Join us each day 11-3p.m. and bring your own lunch.  New projects this summer featuring “PEACE * LOVE * BEADS”.  Camp is $120 plus tax for the three day session or you may pick a day for $45 plus tax.  Check out more details on our Kids Camp web page.

Sunday, July 25thChristmas in July is back once again.  Get a start on your gift making for the holidays.  Christmas themed projects and a make and take will be just part of this fun day!  Save the date!

Second Annual Earring Exchange – Earrings due in to Simply Beadiful by September 15th and exchange will take place at 4:00p.m. on Saturday, September 25th.  See Earring Exchange page for more details.

Saturday, September 18th – The beginner Lampwork Glass Bead Making class is back.  Curious about how those gorgeous beads are made?  This class will fill you in on the set up necessary, the tools, the glass, and how to make basic glass beads.  You will be making beads within 20-30 minutes of arriving!  Join us 413-782-0288. Space limited to 8 students.  As of 7/9/10 only 3 spaces left.

October 16 and 17, 2010 – Special guest teacher, Sue Ripsch, will be coming for a long weekend of amazingly beautiful jewelry classes.  Sue will be teaching 3 different chain mail jewelry classes along with doing a book signing on the afternoon of October 16th at 1p.m.  Be prepared to be amazed and wowed at her gorgeous jewelry and kits.  You may pre-order your very own book and Sue will be sure to autograph it while she is here.  Anyone that would like to pre-order her Classic Chain Mail Jewelry book can give me a call at 413-782-0288 or email me at simplybeadifulonline@yahoo.com.  The class samples have just arrived and will be posted shortly with detailed class descriptions.  I’m soooo excited to show them to you!

Saturday, November 6th - Kimmy of Simply Beadiful has put together a fundraiser for her brother and his Infantry.  The Massachusetts Army National Guard 181st Infantry has just recently been deployed to Afghanistan for duty.  Join us in raising funds through our  “Home of the Free because of the Brave” fundraiser.  All money will be donated to this Infantry and used to send care packages overseas and to fund activites for the children of the unit while their fathers, brothers, and uncles are away.  Simply Beadiful will donate 10% of our sales for the day directly to the 181st and Kimmy is currently selling two different styles of bracelets (pics coming soon) and is donating all of the proceeds from those sales.  Raffle donation items will be accepted by Simply Beadiful until the end of October 2010.
