Earring Exchange September 2010

The earring exchange is back by popular demand! Pick up your entry form (with all the details listed) starting Sunday, July 25th at the Christmas in July event.  New twist to this years exchange!

All submissions are due in by Wednesday, September 15th 5:30p.m.

The Earring Exchange will take place Saturday, September 25th at 3p.m.

Voting for the “Most Popular” pair of earrings will take place Thursday, 9/16  – Friday, 9/24.  The pair of earrings with the most votes will win a gift card to Simply Beadiful!

The more pairs of earrings you submit, the more chances you will have to win and the more pairs of earrings you will go home with!

Here is a look at our earring exchange participants from last year…

Sparkly Spots – Beautiful black and gray jasper paired with jet Swarovski crystals and sterling findings.

Golden Sparkle - Olive green Ocean Jasper paired with Swarovsky Golden Shadow Crystals and gold findings.

Butterfly Kites – Beautiful 11/0 seed beads in teal, crystal ab, and matte black, paired with sterling silver findings.

Green Envy – Jolee’s Jewels crystallized Swarovski elements in peridot, paired with silver plated findings.

Lobster Tails – Cinnamon/Copper color Lobster pearls, clear crystal and czech glass beads, sterling silver earwires and silver plated links.

Earth and Wind – Brown Tiger Flat Oval Czech Glass beads with fire polished rounds, paired with gold plated spacers and gold-filled earwires.

Under the Sea – Flat round clear beads with accents of blue, yellow, and green swaroski crystals, paired with silver plated earwires.

Summer Reflections – A mix of turquoise and white glass beads accented with a silver sun and silver plated earwires.

September – Fall colors including copper findings, red vintage lucite leaves, green jasper nuggets, topaz and red magma Swarovski crystals.

Leaftastic Ladybugs – Red vintage lucite leaves and adorable lady bugs hanging from chain. Sterling silver earwires with silver plated chain and lady bugs.

Blue Bears - Blue quartz bear beads with silver plated accessories.

Diamond Studs - Sterling silver spiraled wire and post with Swarovski Crystal AB cube attached to spiral.

A Hint of Mint – Artistic Wire combined with Teal seed beads, Swarovski crystals, and sterling silver earwires and headpins.

Birthday Bouquet – Artistic Wire combined with Czech Glass in red, amber, and olive coloring on gold filled ear wires.

Pyramids – Sculptural Peyote Delica beads in black and white paired with sterling silver ear threads.

The Falling Leaves – Swarovski crystals in fall neutrals with silver plated empress chandeliers, silver plated leaves, and sterling silver earwires.

Bacie’s Quilt Square – Gold plated leaf charms with oval jump rings and gold filled earwires.

Blue and Green Floral – Blue, green, and pink cloissone beads with hypo-allergenic earwires.

Black Beads – Bead crochet on sterling silver hoop earrings.

Crochet Beads – Sterling Silver combined with 11/0 seed beads in aqua luster and teal.

Bracelet Swap 2009

The bracelet swap was great fun.  It was nice to see how many different ideas everyone came up with.  Thanks to everyone that participated.  Stay tuned for our next swap…possibly a necklace???

Bracelet Swap Details

1.  You must sign up at Simply Beadiful between November 1st and November 30th.

2.  Give us your wrist size and the bracelet size you normally wear and your favorite colors or the colors you like to wear.

3.  Simply Beadiful will assign you a bracelet size to make by November 30th.

4.  Material purchased from Simply Beadiful is preferred.

5.  There must be a minimum of $15 worth of materials for the bracelet you make.

6.  Bracelet must be gift wrapped.

7.  Mark you calendar:  The swap will take place on Sunday, December 13th at our Holiday Party at Simply Beadiful.  Swap time is 2:00p.m.  Join us this afternoon and swap your bracelet with your anonymous receiver.  Can’t wait to see all the surprises in store.

8.  Simply Beadiful will photograph all the bracelets and post them online for everyone to see after the party!
